Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, through its Advanced Facilities Group, seeks an entry‑level M/E engineer for core responsibilities in large Industrial, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will learn to develop budgets, review options, and assist in bid and subcontractor processes, while growing under senior engineers in a collaborative team.

You will gain exposure to design documents, shop drawings, and commissioning activities, with a focus on safe, high‑quality delivery and on‑time project

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills; ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reading plans/drawings.
• Basic budgeting/estimating knowledge and familiarity with preconstruction processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Perform entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates from design information.
• Review mechanical/electrical options during preconstruction and analyze systems.
• Assist in defining scopes of work for bid processes.
• Support bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Aid in sequencing of systems to meet schedules.
• Learn to identify constructability issues from design documents.
• Assist with shop drawings, submittals, and commissioning processes.
