Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking an M/E Engineer 1 for Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) roles across multiple U.S. locations. The role focuses on learning safety, quality plans, and participating in early-stage mechanical and electrical work on large industrial projects.

You will assist in bid-related activities, develop M/E scopes for bids, and help coordinate shop drawings, with opportunities to grow within a national contractor with diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 0–2 years construction experience or summer internship/co-op preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction tasks.
• Assists in developing M/E scopes of work for bid processes.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Assists in commissioning and functional testing.
