Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry level M/E Engineer 1 to perform mechanical, electrical and field construction tasks. You’ll collect data, help develop estimates, and support bid analysis aligned with safety and quality plans.

You'll learn to coordinate scopes, assist with shop drawings, and contribute to commissioning activities while growing with a high-performing construction team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or architectural engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years construction experience or internship preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Completes entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates using program data.
• Assists in reviewing options and conducting systems analysis for select projects.
• Develops mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
• Supports sequencing and constructability reviews to meet schedules.
