Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry-level engineer to support mechanical and electrical work on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. You will learn to interpret design documents and help prepare estimates, while supporting bid and coordination activities.

With a Bachelor’s in engineering and 0–2 years of construction exposure, you will join a diverse team focused on accurate, timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years construction experience or internship preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Complete entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program data using estimating system.
• Assist in review of mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction.
• Help develop mechanical/electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assist in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
