Job summary

Lending Hand Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Loan Processor to support our processing team and help drive efficient loan closings. You will gather documentation, verify data, and coordinate with borrowers and third parties to keep files moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years in mortgage or financial services, strong communication, and solid organizational skills. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and opportunities for growth within a growing mortgage

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of mortgage/financial services experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Familiarity with mortgage loan products is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with LOS systems (Encompass or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize borrower documentation.
• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers and third parties.
• Update files in the LOS.
• Order third-party services as needed.
• Monitor progress and meet deadlines.
• Prepare files for underwriting.
• Review conditions and clear items for approval.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
