Job summary

Community First Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to turn members' mortgage dreams into reality. You will coordinate and process loan files, act as the liaison between members and the loan originator, and ensure smooth communication throughout the closing process.

In a fast-paced, high-volume setting, you will manage deadlines, verify conditions, and collaborate with lenders, title companies, and other partners to deliver high-quality experiences and WOW service.

Throughout the mortgage process, you'll champion WOW service as the liaison between our member and the loan originator. Your daily, hands-on coordination and processing of submitted mortgage loan files directly support delivery of high-quality mortgage experiences. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will:

• Deliver exceptional service to members, lenders, title companies, and other partners, offering guidance and expertise throughout the loan process.
• Work with members to establish closing dates, ensure all loan conditions have been met prior to closing.
• Review and process mortgage files includes ordering the appraisal, flood and title work, checking for accuracy and preparing the loan for underwriting.

Ideal Candidates will have a combination of:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three plus year(s) of lending or mortgage experience
• Strong time management and organizational skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and wed-based software
• Knowledge of lending practices and regulations
• The ability to adjust priorities, stay organized and provide process-wide attention to detail
