Job summary

Polytainers, Inc. in Lee Summit, MO is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator / Service Desk Coordinator to join our Information Technology team. This hands-on role provides Tier 1/1.5 support, ticket management, and basic systems administration alongside senior IT staff.

You will troubleshoot end-user issues, deploy devices, assist with onboarding/offboarding, maintain inventory, and help with IT projects while following security and change-management practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in help desk, desktop support, technical support or junior IT administration preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to support non-technical users.
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals/Associate certifications or similar are considered an asset, but are not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 1.5 technical support by phone, email, ticketing system, remote support and in person.
• Troubleshoot workstation, software, peripheral, printer, connectivity and business application issues.
• Coordinate escalations with senior IT staff, vendors and application owners.
