Job summary

Engineering-Services- is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to assist with company-wide IT support, covering computers, printers, software applications, and general network support.

Responsibilities include monitoring Level I tickets, updating systems, imaging and decommissioning PCs, VoIP and printer troubleshooting, cabling, new-hire orientation, and participating in special projects. Strong communication and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years related IT experience.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing system or Help Desk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments and adapt to change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and respond to Level I Technical Support tickets.
• Update and maintain computer systems.
• Support policies and procedures for network hardware and software.
• Imaging and decommissioning computers.
• Troubleshoot VoIP phone system and printers.
• Assist with network cabling installation and termination.
• New Hire IT orientation and training.
• Escalate higher level IT tickets as needed.
• Complete assigned projects and research; after-hours coverage when required.
