Job summary

ASM Research in the United States is seeking a training designer to develop and deliver basic training for program applications. You will work with customers and SMEs to identify learning objectives and create course materials, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts to beginners.

You will update lesson plans and materials, support online connectivity, and deliver training outside regular hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience developing and delivering training courses to a variety of audiences.
• Candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, creates and delivers basic level training in accordance with ADDIE system.
• Partners with managers and SMEs to guide and direct support for development of training plans and learning objectives.
• Gathers information from analysts/owners/SMEs to update lesson plans and materials.
• Establishes connectivity of online training via Microsoft Lync or similar technologies and troubleshoots basic issues.
• Updates and maintains instructional materials to help customers attain required skills.
• Facilitates training on routine IT applications and processes in team or independent settings.
• Prepared to deliver training outside normal hours to meet scheduling needs.
• Participates in peer reviews to improve team products and services.
• Supports team ideas and initiatives for customer programs.
• Participates in projects to advance technology-enhanced learning.
