Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician III in Tulsa, OK to lead and execute experiments, tests, and prototype work for product development. You will apply advanced data analysis to provide strategic insights for refinement and improvement.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, ensuring rigorous QA and safety while mentoring junior staff and maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year HVAC degree from a technical school.
• 7–10 years of HVAC industry experience or equivalent.
• EPA 608 and A2L certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and expertise to junior technicians and team members as a subject matter expert.
• Plans, designs, and executes complex tests and analyses on equipment, systems, and prototypes.
• Analyzes and interprets complex test data, drawing conclusions and recommendations for engineering teams.
• Applies advanced problem-solving to diagnose and resolve technical issues with deep knowledge.
• Maintains advanced instrumentation, equipment, and facilities including calibration and optimization.
• Prepares comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing methodologies, results, and recommendations.
