Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Software Applications Analyst to define, approve, deploy, and support software applications for MGB Research and Operations partners. You will provide design, development, testing, implementation, training, and maintenance for applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0–1 year of IT experience, preferably in healthcare IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 0–1 year IT experience, ideally in healthcare IT.
• Experience documenting workflows and business processes.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to translate high-level ideas into detailed, documented technical requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other office productivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review system requirements and business processes; test, debug, and implement software solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans and perform software quality assurance tasks.
• Train end users on software applications and develop end-user documentation.
• Provide ongoing application support by identifying and resolving issues.
• Run reports, update tables, and complete tasks associated with ongoing software operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss activities, issues, and updates.
