Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Software Applications Analyst to define, approve, deploy, and support software applications for MGB Research and Operations partners. You will provide design, development, testing, implementation, training, and maintenance for applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0–1 year of IT experience, preferably in healthcare IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 0–1 year IT experience, ideally in healthcare IT.
• Experience documenting workflows and business processes.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to translate high-level ideas into detailed, documented technical requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other office productivity solutions.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Summary The MGH Digital Solutions Delivery team supports the safe implementation and ongoing support of new and existing technology products used by MGB Research and Operations partners. This role is responsible for defining, approving, deploying, and supporting unique technology requests from clinical and research groups. The Software Applications Analyst provides design, development, testing, implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance for software applications.

Essential Functions

• MGB will ensure that candidates have a HIPAA-compliant workspace (a dedicated, private workspace that is free from distraction and separate from others. Free of dependent care)
• 4x monthly at Assembly Row, Somerville, MA required with some days at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA // Must be flexible for onsite meetings, business needs, projects and team or stakeholder meetings onsite
