Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group, a global engineering firm, invites an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our Engineering Development Training (EDT) program in New York. You will support seasoned engineers, learn CAD/BIM, and contribute to a wide range of MEP projects.

This full-time role offers mentorship, hands-on learning, and a path toward professional licensure; EIT/FE are preferred. Our benefits include medical, 401(k), PTO, and a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with a graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
• E.I.T. or FE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes.
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under guidance of senior staff.
• Support design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits and upgrades.
