Job summary

Artera Services, LLC is seeking a Junior Field Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team. This hands-on role supports end users, office infrastructure, and field technology across our operating companies in an onsite environment to learn systems and standards that power a complex, multi-entity organization.

Ideal candidates are early in their IT career with a willingness to learn, strong communication, and basic Windows/Mac and networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of IT support or related experience.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• onsite presence 5 days a week with travel to field sites.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for travel to office and field sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on and remote support for end users, including hardware, software, network, and mobile devices.
• Support basic office and site network infrastructure under guidance from senior staff.
• Assist users with field software (GIS, project management, safety/compliance apps) and escalate tooling issues as needed.
• Conduct routine site visits to provide in-person technical support to field and office staff.
• Assist with user account administration and device management using AD and Intune.
• Accurately triage and document incidents, tickets, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
• Communicate professionally with end users and field staff, maintaining a calm, helpful tone.
