Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Junior Facility Engineer to support reliability of building systems across a portfolio including Ethicon Operations in San Lorenzo and Manati. You will gain hands-on experience with condition monitoring, data analysis tools, and maintenance management systems while contributing to asset management excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field.
0-2 years of experience in asset management, facilities, reliability engineering, or related roles.
Understanding of reliability engineering principles and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI; basic MATLAB/Python preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS/EAM and predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

Conduct reliability assessments of building systems and infrastructure, validating MTBF/MTTR against benchmarks.
Perform equipment assessments following procedures and record downtime and performance metrics.
Support predictive maintenance by validating condition monitoring data from sensors/IoT devices.
Document failures and conduct root cause analysis; recommend corrective actions.
Monitor real-time performance and validate against design specs; track energy metrics.
