Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Junior Facility Engineer to help ensure operational reliability across our real estate portfolio, including Ethicon Operations at San Lorenzo and Manati. You will perform reliability assessments, validate MTBF/MTTR data, and support predictive maintenance across building systems and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in asset management, facilities, reliability engineering, or related roles.
• Understanding of reliability engineering principles and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI; MATLAB/Python preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS/EAM) and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reliability assessments of building systems and critical infrastructure, validating MTBF/MTTR data against benchmarks.
• Perform equipment assessments following procedures and record downtime and performance metrics.
• Support predictive maintenance programs by analyzing sensor data and trends from IoT devices.
• Document failures and perform root-cause analysis to identify corrective actions.
• Create reliability dashboards and executive summaries for leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to train staff and ensure adoption of reliability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining documentation.
