Rivian Automotive in New York offers an entry to mid-level Technician role focused on growing technical acumen while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service under senior mentorship, with potential travel and remote support as needed.

The position emphasizes communication, adaptability, and curiosity, with a pathway to develop diagnostic skills and hands-on expertise in Rivian's EV framework and tools.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency credential preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no suspensions or revocations within the past 3–5 years).
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Availability for a standard 40-hour workweek, including potential shifts on weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, or overnights based on business needs.
• Flexibility for travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments, as well as work order management systems.
• Eagerness to learn, strong organizational skills, time management, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Vehicle Service & Repair: Perform or assist with diagnosed repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Technical Guidance & Learning: Learn EV framework, tools, and accessories while under mentorship.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: Follow repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Parts & Operations Management: Assist with parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical notes for all repairs.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, families, affiliates, and suppliers.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Professional Growth: Engage in required training and maintain high-quality work with minimal supervision as experience increases.
