Job summary

Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking a Junior Estimator to join the Preconstruction team. You will assist with preparing estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, and analyze subcontractor proposals to support the preconstruction process from budgeting through bid submission.

The role requires 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field. Strong reading of drawings and deadline-driven organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing conceptual and detailed estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Review subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Prepare bid packages and scope comparisons.
• Support preconstruction with budgeting and VE efforts.
• Maintain estimating files and documentation.
