Job summary

Uprite Construction Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a Junior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. You will assist with estimates, takeoffs, and evaluating subcontractor proposals for commercial projects across multiple locations including Irvine, Plano, Phoenix and Roseville.

You will work with Senior Estimators to prepare bid packages, support budgeting, and maintain organized estimating files through design.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience for a commercial GC.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing conceptual and detailed construction estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Prepare bid packages and scope comparisons.
• Support preconstruction with budgeting and updates through design.
• Coordinate with Operations for smooth project handoff after award.
• Maintain estimating files and documentation.
