BlueTeam is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our Preconstruction team in the Florida market. Working under senior staff, you’ll support quantity takeoffs, cost research, trade-partner solicitation, and proposal documentation for commercial renovation and CapEx projects.

Qualifications

• Basic construction math skills and cost extensions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Review project information and perform quantity takeoffs for assigned trades.
• Assist with cost research, unit costs, and cost components under supervision.
• Help develop bidder lists and invitation-to-bid packages with senior staff.
• Assist with drafting scope narratives, inclusions, exclusions, and proposal qualifications.
• Support turnover meetings and communicate estimate assumptions to the team.
• Ensure safety, quality, and continuity considerations are included in estimates.
