Job summary

United Bank Alabama and Florida is seeking a Loan Specialist I to maintain escrow and insurance data on loan accounts and perform escrow-related servicing tasks. You will work closely with lending staff, insurance agents, tax authorities, and internal departments to support the bank's loan portfolio.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure accurate records and timely processing of escrow, tax, and insurance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of clerical/banking experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Detail oriented with solid analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual and periodic escrow analyses.
• Process escrow disbursements for taxes and insurance.
• Maintain escrow records on loan accounts.
• Update insurance policy information on loans.
• Review tax bills and insurance invoices for escrow payments.
• Investigate escrow discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate with insurance agencies, tax authorities, and staff.
