Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers recent graduates a chance to apply engineering skills to sustainable water and wastewater projects while developing professionally.

Under supervision you will assist with design of facilities, sewers, pipelines, and related infrastructure, perform analyses and modeling with tools like ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and SWMM, and contribute to project documentation and client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
0 years of experience; domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficient in CAD, ArcGIS, Excel, and engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Support site assessments, engineering studies, and design development.
Assist with water quality analyses, hydraulic modeling, and design calculations.
Adjust design parameters based on site conditions and project needs.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, specs, and project docs.
Develop presentations for client meetings and industry conferences.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects.
Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities.
