Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This role offers recent graduates a chance to apply engineering skills to innovative water projects and grow within a dynamic team.

You will support design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure, under direct supervision, ensuring compliance with standards and client specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline; 0 years; travel up to 10% may be required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on project needs.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities, sewer systems, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
• Perform water quality analyses and modeling.
• Contribute to technical reports and client presentations; assist in preparing presentations for meetings and industry conferences.
• Develop documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and other software.
• Possibility to participate in fieldwork supporting construction management activities.
