Job summary
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a candidate to analyze power projects and distill complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations for developers, utilities, and government agencies. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to support financing, planning studies, and business cases for energy projects in the United States and abroad.
Experience in power or renewable energy projects is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a plus for a master’s degree or MBA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical and/or civil/structural engineering is required.
- Master's degree in engineering or business is a plus.
- Experience in power/renewable energy projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze power projects and distill technical concepts into actionable conclusions for stakeholders.
- Advise power project developers on utility-scale solar, wind, storage, and other projects.
- Evaluate new projects to support financing.
- Model economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators and utilities.
- Develop planning studies and business cases for utilities and government agencies.
