Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an engineer to analyze power projects, distill complex concepts into actionable conclusions, and support stakeholders in financing, design, construction, and operation of energy projects in the United States and overseas.

You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to advise developers on utility-scale solar, wind, storage, and other assets; evaluate projects for financing; model economic/technical scenarios; and develop planning studies for utilities, producers,

Qualifications

Technical report writing.
Multidiscipline teamwork (design projects, co-ops).
Data analysis and visualization.
Project finance or business acumen.
Conceptual project design.
Construction project management and scheduling software knowledge.

Responsibilities

Analyze power projects and distill technical concepts into actionable conclusions and recommendations.
Advise power project developers to support solar, wind, storage, and other projects.
Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects to support financing.
Model economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies.
Develop planning studies and business cases for utilities, power producers, and government agencies.
