Job summary

Sargent & Lundy offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days. This role focuses on analyzing power projects across the U.S. and abroad, distilling technical concepts into actionable recommendations used by designers, financiers, and operators.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in power/renewable projects, and strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills. A master’s in engineering or MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical and/or civil/structural engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise power project developers to support utility-scale solar, wind, storage, and other projects.
• Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing.
• Model economic, technical, and market scenarios for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies.
• Develop planning studies and business cases for utilities, power producers, and government agencies.
