Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking an Energy & Utilities Analyst to support power system studies, planning and due diligence for critical infrastructure clients.

You will assist with evaluating power plants, transmission and distribution, and supporting investment and cost/benefit analyses in a collaborative, results-driven environment. The role requires a solid engineering or related degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree.
• Basic knowledge in standard engineering techniques, principles and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located.
