Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. seeks an entry-level Electrical Project Engineer III to support the North American Warehouse Solutions Team in Marietta, GA. You will help design and commission material handling systems and automation for customers across North America.

You will collaborate with mechanical, controls, supply chain, and installation teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements, stay within budget, and install efficiently. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring relevant degree or diploma.
• Willing and able to travel domestically up to 30% with occasional international opportunities.
• Able to think conceptually (overall system) and translate to detailed system design.
• Team-oriented in an entrepreneurial organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop code compliant electrical systems that meet customer specifications.
• Optimize system functionality from as-sold to a working electrical design within budget with other disciplines.
• Perform system and component calculations to size components and equipment.
• Engineering of project specials for non-standard design applications.
• Apply safety regulations and specify electrical equipment for complete system.
• Use AutoCAD Electrical, Word, Excel to develop wiring diagrams, BOMs, etc.
• Document engineering decisions in design plans and installation files.
• Travel to site for surveys as needed and support installation/commissioning.
• Manage project document control using a rights-based database.
