Job summary

Pike Engineering is looking for an entry-level engineer to provide technical support under close supervision. You will develop core engineering skills, analyze problems, and prepare precise reports and calculations. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning in a field-office setting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and a basic understanding of electricity and power quality. Travel to job sites and storms may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program or recognized equivalent.
• Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and power quality concepts.
• Familiarity with distribution construction standards and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve problems under close supervision.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Support storm restoration efforts and uphold Pike Engineering's goals.
