Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level engineer to support our Engineering team on power distribution projects. This role blends office and field work, teaching you to design safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions while accurately entering data and following client workflows.

You will gain foundational knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers, with on-site duties and opportunities to participate in storm restoration as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree may be required for certain projects.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance is required and remote/hybrid work is not available.
• Interpret and comply with applicable codes, regulations, and procedures; maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist with the development of project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using design software and work management tools.
• Develop technical field and construction knowledge through hands-on work and mentorship from engineers.
• Provide regular project status updates and build strong relationships with partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Engage in ongoing learning and mentorship from experienced team members and Professional Engineers.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
