Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level engineer to support our Engineering team, combining office and field work to design safe, reliable, and cost-effective power distribution solutions. You will learn design tools, follow workflows, and enter data accurately, building a foundation for each project's technical requirements.

You will work under regional leadership, participate in storm restoration when needed, and gain mentorship from professional engineers while developing practical field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some projects may require an Associate degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle suitable for business use.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of complete project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions, using design software and work management tools.
• Prepare project packages with drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions while utilizing company and client design software.
• Provide regular project status updates and build strong relationships with internal and external partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Engage in continuous learning and mentorship from experienced team members and engineers.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.

Education
