Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program (or an approved evaluation by NCEES).
• Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
• Knowledge of distribution construction standards and methods.
• Understanding of basic electricity and power quality.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of the utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare detailed and accurate technical reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Continual improvement of job-related engineering and professional knowledge, skills, and performance.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Support Pike Engineering's goals and represent the company positively and professionally.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
