Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level engineer to provide foundational engineering support under close supervision. You will develop skills in your field, with opportunities to work more independently as you grow.

Responsibilities include problem identification, analysis, reporting, and contributing to storm restoration efforts, all while adhering to safety and quality standards. A Bachelor's in Engineering is required, with ABET accreditation or equivalent evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with ABET accreditation or equivalent evaluation
• Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles
• Understanding of basic electricity and power quality
• Knowledge of distribution construction standards and methods
• Familiarity with project management concepts

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities
• Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and sketches
• Support continuous improvement in engineering and professional knowledge
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support Pike Engineering's goals and represent the company professionally
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed
