Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level engineer-support role that backs our Engineering team and reports to regional leadership. The position involves office and field work, applying basic technical skills to design safe, reliable, and cost-effective power distribution solutions.

You will learn design tools, follow workflows, enter data accurately, and build foundational project knowledge. You will gain hands-on experience through mentorship, participate in storm restoration if needed, and

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• High school diploma or GED (Some client projects may require an Associate degree).
• 0–2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing complete project and job packages—drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions—using design software and work management tools.
• Build technical field and construction knowledge by preparing project packages and utilizing company/client tools.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Engage in continuous learning and mentorship from experienced team members, supervisors, and professional engineers.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
• Regular on-site attendance required and adherence to client/workflow procedures.
