Job summary

KBR is seeking a Jr. Electrical & Computer Engineer to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in design, development, and research of interfaces, ensuring subsystems integrate into a viable system.

You will validate mission requirements and monitor performance, advising the customer for critical decisions. The role includes engineering design, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, troubleshooting, and contributing to process improvements within a security-cleared, mission-focused

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer/Engineering
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops acceptable)
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Python
• Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and computer engineering systems including hardware and embedded components
• Create and review technical documentation (schematics, interface control documents, test procedures)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of systems and software engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
• Support engineering process improvements across tools and methods
• Assist in planning and coordinating engineering activities and studies
• Serve as customer interface for technical guidance and decision support
