KBR is seeking a Jr. System Engineer to collaborate with stakeholders in designing and researching interfaces, ensuring subsystems are integrated into a complete system. You will provide ongoing functional analysis to validate mission requirements and monitor performance, advising customers on critical decisions.

You will work with space systems teams to identify issues, develop requirements, and support mission-critical deliverables across the systems engineering lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support end-user needs by identifying, investigating and resolving system issues related to space systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, project leads, and customers to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Assist in developing system requirements and specifications aligned with High-Level Mission objectives.
• Participate in trade studies to identify improvements in system performance, architecture, and software/hardware solutions.
• Contribute to engineering tradeoff analyses and assist in formulating Courses of Action (COAs) that consider operational constraints.
• Gather information to create technical documents that support project deliverables.
• Stay updated on agency, national, and international standards related to space systems development to ensure compliance and integration.
• Provide support throughout the systems engineering life cycle, managing risks and developing mitigation plans to guarantee mission success.
• Track project activities for systems engineering, software/hardware development, and deployment, ensuring effective command and control integration.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to optimize ground processing and mission management practices.
