Job summary

Zen Educate is seeking a Junior Educator Recruitment Associate in Minneapolis, a hybrid role with three days in the office. You will connect paraprofessionals and substitute teachers with schools, learning screening, interviewing, and matching educators to roles where they can have the biggest impact.

You’ll develop recruitment, sales, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-growing EdTech startup, with a hybrid model and strong mission to improve education.

Qualifications

• Some experience in customer service (serving/hospitality welcomed), recruitment or education is a plus but not required.
• New grads with strong alignment to Zen’s mission are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and interview applicants: call educators, assess experience and preferences, schedule interviews.
• Build value and excitement by sharing Zen Educate’s mission and opportunities.
• Collaborate with recruiters to transition candidates through screening, documents, and onboarding.
• Help place educators into classrooms to fill staffing needs across the US.
• Test and innovate using new tools and AI to improve recruitment processes.
• Think like an owner: contribute ideas and take initiative in a growing startup.
