Job summary

Computer World Services is seeking a Network Specialist to oversee installation, configuration, testing, and monitoring of DoD networks for government facilities. This on-site role requires a BS degree with 2–4 years of experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+).

Salary ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications. The position emphasizes coordination with customers and stakeholders, strict adherence to DISA standards, and ensuring proper TSOs and activation

Qualifications

• BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, ITA and data input for new service activations per DISA standards.
• Work with customers, solution architects and vendor SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are prepared for network changes.
• Initiate network device configurations using configlets.
• Monitor networks to assess impact of changes on customer traffic.
