Job summary

Computer World Services is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to oversee installation, configuration, testing, and monitoring of DoD network projects. You will coordinate with customers, architects, and vendors, execute ITA activities, and ensure DISA compliance for all activations.

Required are a BS degree with 4–8 years of experience (or a MS with 2–6 years), strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF/VLANs, and DoD processes. On-site role with potential TSOs and security clearances.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 4–8 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Experience configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF.
• Experience with DISA standards and DoD networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer coordination, ITA and data input for new service activations per DISA standards.
• Work with customers, solution architects and SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Manage Service Orders per Change Management procedures.
• Ensure TSOs are in place for scheduled network changes.
• Initiate network device configurations using configlets.
• Analyze DISN databases to validate customer requirements.
• Design and modify network solutions through testing and documentation.
• Coordinate circuit activations with vendors for end-to-end connectivity.
• Monitor deployed changes and assess traffic impacts against expectations.
• Engage with DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
