KBR is hiring a Jr Software Developer in Colorado Springs to build secure, cloud-native solutions. You will develop end-to-end lifecycles, deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes or Docker, and strengthen CI/CD pipelines with GitOps for automated, secure software delivery.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on security are central to the role. Qualifications include a Secret clearance, a CS-related degree, and 2 years of web development plus experience with modern stacks

Qualifikationen

• Secret clearance or above is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 years’ experience developing web based applications.
• 2 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience in database development (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Strong problem-solving and automation mindset.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments.
• Design containerized solutions using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with a security focus and automation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect cloud-native apps.
• Apply GitOps principles for automated deployments and secure updates.
• Maintain logs and utilize analytics for system monitoring.
