Job summary

KBR is seeking a Jr Software Developer to design and implement secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deploy containerized solutions using Kubernetes or Docker, build CI/CD pipelines, and apply GitOps for automated delivery.

This role emphasizes security, scalability, and rapid iteration. Ideal candidates have 2 years of web development experience, familiarity with CI/CD, scripting, and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance or above.
• 2 years’ experience developing web based applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple technology stacks to support diverse applications.
• Develop and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based lifecycles.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and automation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized cloud-native solutions.
