KBR, Inc is seeking a Jr Fullstack Software Engineer to help build secure cloud-based services with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps. You’ll work across Python, Java, JavaScript, GoLang and script automation while collaborating with teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

The role emphasizes secure software delivery, containerized architectures, and cloud-native solutions with AWS services and IaC/CaC tooling. Colorado Springs, CO position with 115k–130k compensation.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required to be considered for this position.
• 2 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• 2 years’ developing web-based applications.
• Experience with HTML/JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js/Angular/React).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• Proficient in AWS and GitLab.
• Familiarity with IaC/CaC and log analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage secure end-to-end cluster lifecycles in cloud environments.
• Implement containerized architectures using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitOps principles.
• Collaborate with teams to architect cloud-native solutions.
• Apply DevSecOps practices across the software lifecycle.
• Automate security checks and deployment processes.
