Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and optimize automated assembly systems. You will maintain control systems, improve OEE, and work across facilities to implement effective solutions.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs (AB Studio 5000), Siemens Step 7, C++, and ladder logic, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial controls, automation, and programming.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI, and control systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve automation controls systems to increase productivity.
• Program and debug PLCs, HMIs, and automation software.
• Review data, shift reports, and participate in managerial meetings.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments and facilities.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety processes.
• Pursue continuous improvement projects.
