Job summary

Avancez Assembly seeks a Controls Engineer for 3rd shift to maintain and enhance automated assembly systems. You will troubleshoot, program, and optimize control systems, interfacing with PLCs, HMIs, and robotics, while collaborating across departments to improve efficiency and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT and 2+ years of related experience, plus strong English communication. Travel to other facilities may be required occasionally.

• 2+ years of industry experience with related equipment.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve automation controls systems to increase productivity.
• Program and troubleshoot control systems and HMI.
• Review data, reports, and logs; participate in managerial meetings.
• Work across facilities and departments to implement improvements.
• Ensure equipment uptime and safety; follow health and safety processes.
