Avancez Assembly is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and optimize automated assembly systems. You will troubleshoot, implement creative solutions, and ensure that production stays efficient and safe.

The role requires experience with AB Studio 5000, Siemens Step 7, and Fanuc robotics, along with strong reading of drawings and ladder logic. You will collaborate with multiple departments and facilities, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to higher OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• 2+ years of industry experience with related equipment.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain checklists and input data into PLC log.
• Review shift reports and participate in managerial meetings.
• Program and troubleshoot automation controls to improve productivity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across facilities and departments.
• Identify root causes and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and safety compliance.
