Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a highly capable Controls Engineer to design, program, and optimize automated assembly systems. You will troubleshoot, improve processes, and ensure production meets customer needs while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of industry experience with PLCs, HMI, and automation equipment. Travel may be required across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining checklists.
• Review and input data into PLC log.
• Review shift reports.
• Participation in managerial meetings.

• Find root causes of issues.
• Maintain and improve OEE and HMI performance.
• Evaluate new manufacturing and controls technologies.
• Stay updated on controls technology.
