Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer who will support all aspects of construction projects. You will report to a Project Manager or Superintendent and help coordinate with owners, architects and trades, while contributing to budgeting and scheduling efforts.

You will gain hands-on experience in reviewing drawings, handling change orders, and ensuring quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and guidelines.
• Understanding of construction processes and site practices.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project, SureTrak, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage estimating, bidding processes and track costs to control project budget.
• Resolve design issues and field changes; document changes and costs.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals and change orders for clarity and accuracy.
• Provide field support to ensure contract compliance and quality control.
• Assist in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns.
• Track milestone progress and maintain project schedules.
