Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support EPC operations with engineering coordination and documentation rigor. The role is remote with travel and may transition to a permanent position.

Responsibilities span warranty forensics, new tech implementation, field data coordination, and pile load testing support during initial design. The position emphasizes field data collection, design review, and engineering communications to ensure project success and timely issue resolution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance to grow toward independence.
  • EIT certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
  • Ability to read civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes and engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD/GIS exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support warranty data collection and documentation.
  • Assist in deployment of construction technologies (GPS, drones, machine control).
  • Coordinate daily engineering information flow to field teams and manage RFIs.
  • Maintain engineering document control systems and drawings.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and risk identification.
  • Monitor deliverable timelines and support mitigation with partners.
