Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC in Washington, DC seeks an entry-level Compliance Analyst to serve as the project compliance expert on a portfolio of government-funded projects. You will work with a team of compliance professionals to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local wage laws, and to support payroll reporting and reviews.

This role offers upward mobility within Project Controls and Compliance, occasional site visits, and a chance to contribute to worker utilization and small business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, or similar relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws and PLA requirements
• Generate, certify, and submit CPRs for Clark craft employees and subcontractors
• Manage prevailing wage document collection and review for Clark and trade partners
• Cross-check payroll submissions against project documents to ensure proper wage payments
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership on process improvements and issue resolution
• Assist with complex prevailing wage issues and/or investigations with third parties
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
• Support worker utilization and small business subcontracting goals
• Address internal audit findings and assist with project start-up and close-out for compliance
• Travel to project sites as needed
• Conduct weekly on-site worker interviews to ensure wage compliance
