Job summary

Clark Construction Group - California, LP is seeking an early-career Compliance Analyst based in San Diego, CA. You will join a dedicated team to enforce wage laws, prepare CPRs for Clark craft workers and subs, and ensure project compliance across a portfolio of government-funded construction projects.

You will collaborate with project teams and leadership, handle sensitive information, and travel to local sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or similar relevant work experience.
• Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Careful attention to detail and reliability of output.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with federal and state contracting, labor regulations, and FAR regulations a plus.

• Bilingual with Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws, as well as union and PLA requirements.
• Generate, certify, and submit CPRs for Clark craft employees and subcontractors.
• Manage all prevailing wage related document collection and review.
• Cross-check payroll submissions against project documents to ensure proper wage payments.
• Collaborate with project team and leadership on process improvements and issue resolution.
• Assist with complex prevailing wage issues and/or investigations with third parties.
• Maintain confidentiality and access controls around sensitive information.
• Support worker utilization and small business subcontracting goals.
• Resolve internal audit findings promptly.
• Manage project start-up and close-out for compliance.
• Perform other compliance duties as required.
• Travel to one or more local project sites.
